Troy is a Member of Bush, Motto, Creen, Koury & Halligan, P.L.C. having joined the firm in 2022. Troy has been an attorney for over twenty-four years. While he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants and both individuals and companies, his practice experience is largely in the area of civil litigation, including commercial, personal injury defense and workers' compensation defense. Troy has been listed in the Great Plains Super Lawyers for workers' compensation since 2017 and in The Best Lawyers in America for Litigation-Labor and Employment since 2016. He is a Fellow in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers having tried over twenty-five civil cases to jury verdict, ranging from personal injury and wrongful death to commercial disputes, including those involving non-compete agreements. Troy has particular expertise in workers' compensation cases having tried well over fifty Iowa workers' compensation cases to decision during the past decade. 

Troy is married to Kasi and has three daughters: Ella, Brie, and Abby. He is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and an avid distance runner.
