Business & Contract Litigation

Business and Contract Litigation

Contractual relationships, purchase and sale of business, business ventures, business partnerships, small company shareholders, and property or business deals sometimes involve transactions that times lead to disharmony, discord, and contentious disputes.

We have a broad breadth of experience and expertise  in the areas of corporate and real estate, asset protection and estate planning, and labor and employment. We are well positioned to provide invaluable assistance and counsel when such a situation arises. We have counseled and represented clients in a wide-range of litigation including failed business transactions, breaches of business contracts, shareholder, LLC membership and partnership disputes, as well as disputed commercial contracts and lease provisions, and insurance coverage issues. We have prosecuted and defended individual, multi-plaintiff, and class and collective actions.

We are not a volume practice. We carefully consider each and every matter. We select only few cases that we select to handle after thoughtful, meticulous, and exhaustive study and discussion. We analyze each and every case on its own merits and with its own issues. Then strategically, with our clients, we plan and execute the best and most efficient course of action with  our client and to obtain our clients  goals. We will hard  to extricate our clients from difficult, emotional, financially complicated and complex disputes. When necessary, we aggressively prosecute or defend our clients  in federal court, state court, and before AAA,or other arbitration systems.

Generally speaking, we first try to engage in in informal discussions and negotiations to resolve commercial disputes for our clients. If that fails, we consider all options – mediation, arbitration, litigation. We consider whether the matter requires aggressive and emergency action or a more deliberate, methodical approach.  Sometimes a case should not be filed in Court. Other times, emergency injunctive relief in court may be necessary.  Again, we, working in concert with our individual and corporate clients, consider all strategic options, prepare a litigation plan, and then implement that plan while remaining nimble in responding to our adversaries' legal and factual contention

Our Commercial, Business and  Contract Litigation experience and client representation involves many aspects, including:
